PROGRAM DIRECTOR, ALCOHOL TREATMENT UNIT for VAMC, Ft. Lyon, Colorado, Aug 83 - Feb 86. Overall responsibility for a 30 bed inpatient alcoholism treatment program. Unit responsibility for overall psychological services. Development of ongoing program evaluation and clinical research. Direct clinical evaluative and therapeutic services. Direct supervision of one Ph.D. and four rehabilitation technicians (alcohol), coordination for staff psychiatrist, two MSW's, nursing staff, and all support personnel. Supervise V. Chairman of the Interdisciplinary Team Staffing for admission and annual review for all residents to this mental retardation facility (440 beds). DIRECTOR (FOUNDING) & PRIMARY CLINICIAN for McGrath-Anvik Community Mental Health & Alcoholism Services, McGrath Alaska Sept 77 - Sept 78. Complete set-up, administrative, and clinical or consultative services for a new seven village itinerant rural mental health program. Liaison with Alaska State and Federal agencies as well as district hospitals, clinics and courts. A variety of individual and community services including public education on family mental health and addictions. STAFF CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST for Intensive Treatment Services, Eastern State Hospital, Lexington Kentucky Sept 75 - Sept 77. Complete responsibility for evaluative and psychotherapeutic psychological services to a 30 bed female admissions unit. Cosign involuntary civil commitments.
